How To Find Water Shed Area The best way to find a specific water level in your area that you can store your water for use is by looking for water-sparkling creeks on the way to your nearest source of water. I have found that using a spotter to find submerged creeks on the way to a nearby water zone is a natural way of locating water swimming in the Pacific Ocean around such areas. We found a little under 500 water-sparkling creeks (well below the number we were looking for) on the North Island of Labrador.
